Naira rain as Nwabali Buries Parents in Rivers State




 Donations have been pouring in as Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali buries his parents this weekend.


Nwabali senior died during the World Cup qualifier last year while the South Africa based mother also died shortly after.


He was in goal when Nigeria won the Unity Cup in London last weekend but has been excused for Friday's international freidnly match agaisnt Russia.

Afro beat star, Davido, is among the donors having donated N15m and also a car, according to some sources. The Nigeria Football Federation also donated N20m to the goalie.


These are the donors so far, according to a source.

7. Alex Iwobi 10million

Nwabali is from Egbema in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State and the parents are expected to be buried in their country home.

Nigeria Cannot Afford a One Party System

  It is not a secret that the ruling APC is bent on destroying the opposition and coast home in the 2027 General Election. It has dismantled the the opposition PDP and the upcoming ADC that Nigerians fear that the 2027 elections might just be a coronation exercise despite their displeasure with the ruling party. FIFA U20 World Cup: Argentina Await Flying Eagles Battle in Round of 16

  The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will take on Argentina in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile. The Nigerian lads finished third in Group  to earn a place as one of the best losers after a pulsating 1-1 draw against Colombia early Monday morning.
