Partey on Barca Radar

Versatile Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey could be on his way to Barcelona FC on a free transfer. Partey is free to leave this summer though Arsenal have opened talks with the 31-year-old Ghanaian.

Arsenal have looked to extend his stay, especially for his utilitarian value in the latter part of last season. His absence through injury cost Arsenal dearly in some matches while he was also used as a right back during the injury-crisis ridden season.


Partey joined from Athletico Madrid and has been  a massive calming influence in the middle for 


Barca are not only raiding Arsenal for Partey as they are also eyeing  winger Gabriel Martinelli as he is highly rated by the Catalan giants.

The Spanish giants are looking to add more attacking flair out wide.

Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz could also be on the radar.

Diario Sport say Martinelli is on the Blaugrana’s shortlist of backup targets, alongside Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman.

However, the Gunners would demand a large fee for the Brazil international as they are also trying to spearhead their own attack this summer.

Nigeria Cannot Afford a One Party System

  It is not a secret that the ruling APC is bent on destroying the opposition and coast home in the 2027 General Election. It has dismantled the the opposition PDP and the upcoming ADC that Nigerians fear that the 2027 elections might just be a coronation exercise despite their displeasure with the ruling party. FIFA U20 World Cup: Argentina Await Flying Eagles Battle in Round of 16

  The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will take on Argentina in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile. The Nigerian lads finished third in Group  to earn a place as one of the best losers after a pulsating 1-1 draw against Colombia early Monday morning. Captain, Daniel Bameyi scored from the penalty spot for his consecutive penalty goal to rescue a point against Colombia, who had scored earlier.
