President Tinubu Set to Host Victorious DTigress



Just a week ago, President Bola Tinubu played host to the victorious Super Falcons in Aso Rock with generous rewards after winning the 10th AWCON title in Tunisia penultimate Saturday.

The President announced a cash gift of 100 thousand dollars to each player, a three bedroom apartment and OON national titles.

Any moment from now, the President is set to play host to the DTigress, who clinched their 5th consecutive Afrobasket title last night in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire. The Coach Rena Wakama led side defeated Mali 78-64 in the tense final last win for the title.


The ladies started the  match slowly losing the first quarter 26-21. The DTigress won the consecutive quarters 20-15, 20-15, 17-8.


The team had defeated Senegal in the semifinal, Cameroun in the quarter final and won their first tow marches in the group stage against Mozambique. Nigeria set an astonishing 29 match unbeaten record dating back to 2015.

Nigeria Cannot Afford a One Party System

  It is not a secret that the ruling APC is bent on destroying the opposition and coast home in the 2027 General Election. It has dismantled the the opposition PDP and the upcoming ADC that Nigerians fear that the 2027 elections might just be a coronation exercise despite their displeasure with the ruling party. FIFA U20 World Cup: Argentina Await Flying Eagles Battle in Round of 16

  The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will take on Argentina in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile. The Nigerian lads finished third in Group  to earn a place as one of the best losers after a pulsating 1-1 draw against Colombia early Monday morning.
