         What Do You Need an International Passport For



 the era of the message to look inwards by PBAT himself, though he does it ensconced in France or any other foreign country, why do Nigerians still rush to get international passports? This is befuddling to the government and the response to that- and rightly so- is to increase its price. So as to serve as deterrent.

A 32-page five year validity Nigerian international passport now goes for N100,000.00 while the 64-page 10 year validity passport goes for N200,000.00 with the effect from today 1 September, 2025. The FG had last year August approved an upward review of the 32-page passport from N35K to N50K and the 64 page passport from 70K to 100K.

That's how we roll in our Federal Republic.... where minimum wage is 70k and several states are yet to pay. So, a minimum wage earner cannot obtain an international passport with his one month salary. This passport saga comes as Japan has dedicated Kisarazu as the Nigerian Town in its bid to "deepen bi-lateral relations".

It is couched nicely but we all know that it's another wave of brain drain as the idea is to get the best of Nigerians to relocate to Japan. Nigerian loses again, but those in government do not care. While it makes life difficult for its citizens, the government calls for patriotism and asks those in the diaspora to return "home" to help rebuild it. 



PBAT has been all over the place in the few months but the place where he ought to be. The insurgency and banditry ravaging the North East and West has now moved to Kwara State. This was a state known for peace, now being shattered. It gets closer while those in power fiddle. The South East is another boiling cauldron by Biafra agitation. We now have Good Boys menacing communities after their leaders- Nnmadi Kanu and Simon Ekpa were arrested and incarcerated. IPBO and ESN have now metamorphosed to terrorising their own people.


So, what do you need a passport for? Your leaders are making all the travels on our behalf. In few days time, a long delegation will make their way to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.

Nigeria Cannot Afford a One Party System

  It is not a secret that the ruling APC is bent on destroying the opposition and coast home in the 2027 General Election. It has dismantled the the opposition PDP and the upcoming ADC that Nigerians fear that the 2027 elections might just be a coronation exercise despite their displeasure with the ruling party. FIFA U20 World Cup: Argentina Await Flying Eagles Battle in Round of 16

  The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will take on Argentina in the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile. The Nigerian lads finished third in Group  to earn a place as one of the best losers after a pulsating 1-1 draw against Colombia early Monday morning. Captain, Daniel Bameyi scored from the penalty spot for his consecutive penalty goal to rescue a point against Colombia, who had scored earlier.
