What Do You Need an International Passport For  the era of the message to look inwards by PBAT himself, though he does it ensconced in France or any other foreign country, why do Nigerians still rush to get international passports? This is befuddling to the government and the response to that- and rightly so- is to increase its price. So as to serve as deterrent. A 32-page five year validity Nigerian international passport now goes for N100,000.00 while the 64-page 10 year validity passport goes for N200,000.00 with the effect from today 1 September, 2025. The FG had last year August approved an upward review of the 32-page passport from N35K to N50K and the 64 page passport from 70K to 100K. That's how we roll in our Federal Republic.... where minimum wage is 70k and several states are yet to pay. So, a minimum wage earner cannot obtain an international passport with his one month salary. This passport saga comes as Japan has dedicated...

PBAT actually  said: "emilokan" during an infamous rant in Abeokuta in the build up to the 2023 General Election. He, at the occasion of APC Stakeholders,  even berated the sitting Gov Dapo Abiodun. BAT then described the governor as "Eleyii", a completely derogatory term for those that understand Yoruba. He spoke Yoruba all through. After that "Yoruba Ronu" emerged. It was reminiscent of what was called "parapo" in those days. It simply means solidarity. Some of us were called "omo ale" for not agreeing with "Ronu's" thinking that it was Yoruba's turn to return to the presidency. In context, Ronus want to get the presidency for the benefits of the Yoruba. He neither spared the late PMB. In the process, that hybernating word: "lule" came back to life! He regaled the stunned audience how as GMB, the former military Head of State, "luled" thrice and wept. He insisted he had to console the disconsola...

The club is yet to issue a statement concerning the injury as at the time of filing this report and the goalkeeper, included in the provisional 31-man list is racing to be fit for the two matches slated for early September. Spurs Suffer Summer Slam

Image
Tottenham Hotspur have suffered seemingly what should have been straightforward business this summer. It happened in the past. They were to sign Willian who had arrived in London and done medical with them. Then Chelsea pounced and the rest is history. Also, their reliable captain Sol Campbell wound down his contract and off to, of all teams, their bitter North London rivals, Arsenal. Earlier this summer, Spurs thought to have captured Ben Gibbs-White all for Nottingham Forest to backtrack and renew the player's contract. Spurs actually triggered the release clause and Forest cried foul for an alleged insider's betrayal. Just on Wednesday, Eberechi Eze was set to be unveiled before an accident happened at Arsenal. Before then, Arsenal had courted their former trainee but were looking to sell before buying. Also, they renewed Ethan Nwaneri- a seeming deputy to Martin Odegaard and sometimes Bukayo Saka on the right. All that changed when it was reported that Kai Havertz got inj...

Obi Junior Confirms Dad's 2027 Presidential Ambition

Image
Oseloka Obi has but confirmed that his father Peter Obi would contest the 2027 presidential election. In a refutal of his latest attacks on social media of allegedly being gay, the UK based actor, script writer and singer urged his traducers to leave him alone as he is a different entity from his father. Pictures of Oseloka had surfaced on the internet with different people and has clarified that those were acquitances and work colleagues. In a detailed statement, Oseloka dismissed the rumours as malicious falsehoods driven by his father’s involvement in Nigerian politics. He noted that while he rarely responds to such narratives, the persistence of gossip and unfounded claims made it necessary to address the matter. “Because of my father’s involvement in Nigerian politics, there has been a persistent curiosity and, at times, malicious obsession with me. “I have no social media presence and no interest in maintaining one, so I rarely correct these falsehoods. But perhaps it is ti...
