  Former Nigerian international Chief Segun Odegbami, MON, has raised alarm over the health challenges facing a former teammate Kadiri Ikhana, who is critically sick at the moment. The former Super Eagles defender and 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Kadiri Ikhana, is currently receiving treatment  at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital in Auchi, Edo State, where he was transferred for emergency blood transfusion and intensive medical care. Sunny Dada, the Mass Media and Information Management Coordinator of Search for Common Ground, in a statement, disclosed that the project, under the Community Centred Approach to Transforming Criminality in the Niger Delta, being implemented in 66 Communities and 33 local government areas of Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States, aimed to reduce criminality through empowerment of the people in the communities. Former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has denied gifting cars to players and officials of Kano Pillars. Musa was recently appointed as the General Manager of the NPFL side he played for until last season.  A viral social media post indicated that the former player gifted his players and the club's officials.
